Versace

The Italian fashion label Versace is both prestigious and cloaked in controversy. Producing a range of couture clothing and luxury fashion accessories Versace has a large stake in the lucrative designer market. They are one of the big players and have been honoured through receiving the top award at the American Fashion Oscars in 1993. Gianni Versace was tragically murdered at the age of 50 due to his sexually. This event shook the foundations of the fashion world and Versace's sister Donatella Versace took over the fashion label. She remained true to the original vision of raw sexiness by producing fashion that has emphasised electric colors, clingy silhouettes and bold, sensuous fabrics.

Versace remains true to the sexy and sophisticated style that early collections embodied. The revealing dresses are a hit with the red carpet and have seen a number of celebrities. These includeMadonna, Kate Hudson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Jamie Foxx and Angelina Jolie. This exclusive list of clientele swears by the Versace name and holds it in reverence. Versace is a testament to the fashion world and continues to shook and teases us with its raw designs that reverence the 1970s and 1980s.
